Learning a second language in a new country as an adult is not easy, but there is help. The Center for Academic Success (CAS) can help you with reading, writing, speaking, and grammar in English. Our tutors are all non-native speakers of English who have learned English just like you, so they understand what you need to be successful.

Access online tutoring through the Student Portal or by clicking the LAPC Tutoring link within any Canvas shell and following the prompts to the Penji tutoring platform.
ESL Workshops (writing and pronunciation)
Joing our grammar, writing, and pronunciation workshops that are delivered by professors and tutors of ESL and English.
Paper Drop Off
Send your paper to an English or ESL tutor remotely and get video and written feedback on your paper within 48 hours.
ESL Courses at Pierce College
LAPC offers credit and non-credit ESL courses.
