Alexandra 'Xan' Rogers

In 2006, Alexandra broke 4 Pierce College Swimming records, three of which still stand, and was named All-American in 2 events, as US National Champion in the 50-yard Backstroke and the 100-yard Backstroke. She also holds records at the Pasadena College pool and qualified and swam at the US Open. Following her time at Pierce, she went on to establish All-Time Top Ten records at San Diego State and still holds Top Ten records to this day. Alexandra is also a two-time Masters All American (US National Champion) in the 50-meter Backstroke and in the 200-yard Backstroke.

Xan's drive and passion go far beyond the confines of the pool. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SDSU, Alexandra works with Wildlife Waystation and with The Earth Organization in helping to rescue, rehabilitate, relocate, and provide sanctuary for exotic animals from around the world as well as native wildlife. She is currently working on a project to educate the public on the long-term ecological effects of irretrievably losing endangered species.Xan exemplifies the fact that Brahmas are rare people , who make a difference in the world.
