Kevin Barnett

After playing one year of volleyball at Naperville North High School in Illinois, Kevin found his way to Pierce College and played (1994-1995) for Pierce Hall of Fame Coach, Ken Stanley. Following two honor filled years, he transferred to Pepperdine University. Playing for Pierce Hall of Famer Marv Dunphy, Kevin became a two-time American volleyball Coaches Association All- American (1996-1997). Then he was on to international competition. In his career, Kevin competed in 187 international matches, including 13 Olympic matches and 12 world championship contests. He was a member of the USA Menís National Volleyball team from 1997-2006 and a member of the 2000 and 2004 USA Olympic team. He garnered MVP honors in 1998 and 2004.

He currently works as a broadcaster based out of Los Angeles. This second career has kept him involved in the Olympic movement working for NBC the past two Olympic Games. Kevin can be seen, covering a variety of sports, regularly on NBC, Fox Sports West, PAC12 Network and ESPN.
