Nabil Mardini

Nabil revitalized the program at Pierce College back in 2000 in his first year at the job. In only two seasons, he took the Lady Brahmas from last place in the Western State Conference to its first Conference Title in more than twenty years and the program never looked back capturing THIRTEEN conference title in FIFTEEN years along with a Final Four finish in 2004, Elite Eight finish in 2005, and a nine straight weeks ranked number 1 in 2008 that saw his team finished with a 32-2 record.

Furthermore, and in his 16 years at the helm, his squad made it to the State Finals five total times finishing state runner ups in 2006 and 2015. It was not till 2010, that his team captured the first California State Championship in school history. In the 2011 and 2012 seasons, his team went undefeated in two straight seasons winning 66 wins and ZERO losses and won TWO more State Titles to make it THREE consecutive CCCAA State Championships. In 16 years, his overall record is 377 wins to 76 losses with 151-16 in the Western State Conference.

Nabil was honored many times for his accomplishments being named the Western State Conference Coach of the Year EIGHT times. He was also named the All-Southern California 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2015 Coach of the Year. The AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) 2010 and 2012 Two-Year College Southwest Regional Coach of the Year, and the AVCA 2010 and 2012 Two Year College National Coach of the Year.
