What/who inspired you to play volleyball?
One of my older sisters played volleyball in high school and watching her play when I was younger is what inspired me to play. But the reason it became such a huge part of my life was because it was the one place that I wasn’t awkward, my height was nothing but an asset.
I think the best word to describe myself is eager. I could not be more enthusiastic about this sport and this team. Due to my injury before the start of this season I am more than ready to get back on the court and work towards being better than I had been before!
What do you think your biggest contribution to the team is?
This year because I’m red shirting all I can give is my love and support. However, something I have is drive. I want to see nothing but the best for myself and my teammates and will do everything within my power to see success.
Why did you choose to play for Pierce
Collegiate volleyball wasn’t something that I thought I was capable of accomplishing. So when Nabil reached out to me, and saw potential with my ability and what I had to offer the choice was simple. This sport was one that I loved and with the opportunity to continue to play and love this sport Pierce was the place I wanted to be.
