Enrollment Process requires an ADD CARD!!

All students wishing to enroll in Coop-Ed must complete a CWEE Application (Student Agreement) binding the employer, student, and Pierce College. Without an agreement, you will not earn credit for Cooperative Education. Once you have submitted a copy of the form and your Learning Objectives are approved you will receive notification by email or mail. All Coop-Ed or CWEE courses require an ADD CARD!

Picking a class

(A) How many hours per week do you work?

5 Hours per week = 1 Unit of Credit
10 Hours per week = 2 Units of Credit
15 Hours per week = 3 Units of Credit
20+ Hours per week = 3 or 4 Units of Credit

(B) Do you have a College Major?
If YES, then proceed to (C) below.
If NO, then YOU do QUALIFY for General Coop-Ed Credit. Identify the units that you qualify for and the SECTION NUMBER below,

Then: REGISTER for CLASSES General Coop-Ed Credit Units and Section Number Credit Section Units Number

(C) You have a major, does your work apply to your College Major?

EXAMPLE: I am a Chemistry major working in quality control for a food processor testing for bacterial levels, carbohydrate content, and levels of trace elements in packaged food items. (YES, Work does apply to Major and you should proceed to (D) below.
EXAMPLE: I am a History major working in a Law office, and I plan on being a lawyer. (YES, Work does apply to Major and you should proceed to (D) below.

If YES, your work applies to your College Major go to (D) below:
If NO, then YOU do QUALIFY for General Coop-Ed Credit. Identify
the units that you qualify for and the SECTION NUMBER below,

Then: REGISTER for CLASSES General Coop-Ed Credit Units and Section Number Credit Section Units Number

(D) YES, you have a major and YES, your work does apply to your College Major, then go to the College Schedule of Classes and find the Occupational category listed. Select the MAJOR listing and the UNITS you qualify for to identify your Section Number to register
