Fun Fact: Diana has been the recipient of an Excellence in Teaching award given by the California Alliance of Art Education and a Bravo Art Award Nominee.

As a former professional dancer, Shannon has been involved in health and wellness for many years. She holds degrees in kinesiology, sociology, and dance and specializes in exercise science, somatic practices, and sport sociology. Shannon is also a certified Pilates Instructor and Health Coach, having worked with clients throughout Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. She has taught at California State University Northridge and Moorpark College. Her teaching approach is rooted in her love of movement as both an aesthetic expression and physical science. Shannon is inspired to share her passion for movement with Pierce College students and guide them to develop functional strength, mind-body awareness, and balance in every sense of the word.
