APT - ACCELERATED PRECALCULUS AND TRIG

The Pierce College Mathematics Department has designed a program to help you succeed in your preparatory Math classes for majors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.

The APT Math 240/Math 260 sections will provide a different format for learning Trigonometry and Precalculus. This learning community:

• Features directed learning activities—rather than just listening and taking notes, you will be actively engaged in classroom activities.

• Involves immersion—you are enrolled in 8 units of mathematics so that most of your studying is focused on succeeding in mathematics.

• Provides a special path—you can complete both trigonometry and precalculus in a single semester.

Below is a listing of the APT Math 240/Math 260 sections.  Enroll in Math 240 by the usual registration process. Once you are registered in Math 240 you are 100% guaranteed a seat in the corresponding Math 260 class.  Enrollment in the Math 260 component is by add card only (receive the add card for Math 260 at a special orientation meeting TBA or on day 1 of class).
