ENG GEN 101 - Introduction to Engineering – 2 Units – This course prepares students for success in their engineering education and future careers. It is particularly aimed at first-year college students who are either considering engineering as a major, or who have decided to major in engineering. The course includes exploration of the various engineering fields and job roles and an introduction to the engineering design process through a team project.
ENG GEN 131 – Statics - 3 Units – An engineering mechanics course studying structures and mechanisms in equilibrium. This course is the foundation for subsequent engineering courses such as strength of materials, dynamics, and fluid mechanics.
