Welcome to the homepage for the Psychology Department at Pierce College. Psychology is a fascinating field which seeks to examine behavior and mental processes. Within the discipline of Psychology, there are many subdisciplines that attempt to explain specific aspects of behavior and mental processes. Some of these disciplines include, Biological Psychology, Sensation and Perception, Consciousness, Learning, Memory, Cognition and Language, Intelligence, Human Development, Personality, Motivation, Emotion, Health Psychology, Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Clinical Psychology.
