Student Community Center
Great Hall/Student Community Center: Scheduling of the Great Hall/Student Community Center (SCC) is done through Meeting Room Manager (MRM) and is coordinated through the Office of the Dean of Student Engagement. The SCC availability can be viewed on the Pierce College website: Faculty & Staff>Calendar>Meeting Room Manager. When MRM is selected, a sign-in screen will appear. Type the word "default" in the field and press enter for the schedule to be displayed. Please note that this can ONLY be checked using a computer on the Pierce College campus or within the Los Angeles Community College District.
To reserve the Great Hall/Student Community Center:
- Check to see if the room is available on the date and time desired. Select 2 or 3 possible dates, in case your first choice is not available.
- Custodial or IT services are NOT available on the weekends.
- After reviewing the MRM for availability, submit the application listed below to Geremy Mason. The requester will be notified via email if the room is unavailable or if the requested information is incomplete.
- Please Note: You are responsible for any damage to the equipment in the space. Prior to leaving the Great Hall/Student Community Center, please confirm that all the equipment has been shutdown and the doors are locked.
If you are planning a fundraiser, please complete the application for fundraising activity & profit and loss statement, which must accompany the application to use the SCC. You will also find the policies and procedures for college fundraising activities on the Pierce College website to assist you in completing the forms. If you are an ASO member, you can also contact the ASO office for assistance. Requests for use of the SCC must be submitted at least 7 business days prior to your event.
