Financial Aid

January 1^st: First day for students to begin filing a 2009-2010 FAFSA and/or Renewal online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

March 2: Primary application deadline for NEW 2009-2010 Cal Grants. To receive full consideration for Los Angeles Pierce College awards, you must submit a FAFSA or a Renewal FAFSA by the March 2, 2009 deadline. Also, your file must be completed and in our office by no later that April 2, 2009.

April 2:  Priority Funding Deadline to apply for limited funding programs such as Federal Work-Study, FSEOG and Perkins Loan.  To apply for the limited funding programs, students must submit the 2009-2010 FAFSA by March 2, 2009 and submit/completed 2009-2010 documents by April 2, 2009. 

May 1: Priority deadline for students who submitted documents and completed their 2009-2010 financial aid file by May 1, 2009.
