Students who wish to have college credit transferred from other colleges and universities in the United States need to have an official transcript mailed from the issuing institution directly to Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) or the "college".

You will have the opportunity to schedule an appointment to meet with an international student counselor regarding your courses once you have been admitted to LAPC. The college does not pre-evaluate transcripts prior to admission. Please note that our counselors can only evaluate your transcripts for LAPC degrees and certificates, including IGETC and CSU Breadth General Education certification.

Coursework completed at institutions of higher education outside the United States must be evaluated course by course (comprehensive evaluation) by a CTC-approved evaluation agency prior to meeting with an international student counselor. Coursework from non-United States regionally accredited institutions cannot be applied to IGETC or CSU Breadth certification.
