READMISSION PROCESS

Students who have been disqualified (dismissed) from Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) for poor academic performance or unsatisfactory progress and who have been away from LAPC for one academic year (2 semesters) must apply for readmission.

The following steps are required for the Readmission Petition process:

Step 1: Apply for admission online at the Pierce College Admission Application web page.

Step 2: Enroll in classes. The dismissal hold should fall off your account automatically upon re-applying. Review your registration appointment date and time by logging into your student portal. You will be allowed to register for classes on the date you were assigned.

Step 3: Schedule a counseling appointment. It is strongly encouraged all students meet with a counselor for assistance on course selection to receive support as you work towards returning to Good Academic status.

If during the dismissal period students enroll at any non-LACCD colleges, students must also arrange for all official transcripts to be sent by email (transcripts@piercecollege.edu) or mail to:
