You will need to provide personal information such as your address, phone number, social security number and educational goal.

Approximately 3-5 BUSINESS/WORKING days after you submit your application, you will receive an email with your Pierce College Student ID number. You will need this number to access campus services such as assessment, counseling and health services.
To complete the online orientation, please log into your Pierce College student portal and click on ORIENTATION
If you passed an English or Math class at a college outside of the LACCD, please bring a transcript (official or unofficial) to the counselors in the First Year Experience Center. A counselor will evaluate your transcript and clear you for the next level of English and Math at Pierce College. A counselor can also clear any other pre-requisite courses you may have taken outside of the LACCD.
If you completed English and/or Math placement/assessment exams at a campus other than Pierce college (but did not pass a course), you can bring a copy of your placement scores to the assessment center for placement in the correct level of English and/or Math at Pierce.
If you have not completed an English and/or Math course and have not taken a placement elsewhere, you will need to take our English and/or Math placement exam. To register for your assessment exams, visit the Assessment Center webpage (link). You will need your Student ID number to register for the exam.
To make an appointment with a New Student Counselor, you can come into the First Year Experience Center (located in 5110 - Lower Level of the Library building) or call 818-610-6508.
Bring your official or unofficial transcripts and meet with a counselor for a transcript evaluation. A counselor will evaluate your transcripts and tell you what courses you have left towards meeting your academic goal. Your counselor will assist you in creating a Student Educational Plan that is right for you. Be sure to bring transcripts of all colleges you attended.
You must send official transcripts from all schools you have attended directly from the institution to the Pierce College Admissions and Records Office.
