Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)

 

 

 

As part of the application process, you are required to take and pass the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam with a minimum composite score of 62% (Your application will not be accepted without a passing TEAS score). Pierce College offers the TEAS exam free to applicants each semester in September and February. Please see SignUpGenius for exact dates. Once you have an appointment to take the TEAS in SignUpGenius, you must create an account with Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI).

Due to the recent COVID 19 pandemic, all TEAS exams will be taken remotely online and proctored by ATI through Proctorio.

If you perform below the required benchmark of 62%, you will be required to complete a semester of remediation. While completing remediation, you will remain on the waitlist until the next application period. Once you complete the remediation, you will retake the TEAS exam and if the benchmark of 62% is met on your second attempt, you will be entered into the lottery for that semester.
