New Pierce College guidelines for COVID protocol are here.

·        Masks are optional, though highly recommended, effective June 12, 2022 (beginning of Summer Sessions).

·        Students no longer need proof of vaccination to enroll, effective May 5, 2022. Vaccination is encouraged.

·        Employees no longer need to provide proof of booster shots, effective May 5, 2022.

Student workers are Pierce employees and will still need to follow employee guidelines, which are to be fully vaccinated, excluding boosters, or have an exemption in place.

We encourage you to stay home if you are ill, and to continue testing for COVID, which you can do at Pierce.

The LACCD Board of Trustees voted for these relaxed guidelines on May 5, 2022 to more closely align with Los Angeles County protocol.

COVID Testing Continues for Students and Employees

Testing continues with BIOCEPT only and this is only for students and employees. They are in the same location they have always been in the North Gym.
